The fully updated National Curriculum for the New Zealand Curriculum and Te Marautanga o Aotearoa is planned to be published by 9 September 2026.
The curriculum will be published on Tāhūrangi in pdf format initially, and then in full online versions later in the year.
To prepare for this release, the draft content currently available for this Learning Area will be removed from Friday, 7 August 2026.
