New Zealand Curriculum

This section contains the current statements of official policy that English medium state and state-integrated schools are required to use when developing and implementing their teaching and learning programmes. It also contains content currently in draft and under consultation for the New Zealand Curriculum framework | Te Mātaiaho and Years 0-10 learning areas: Science, Social Sciences, Health and Physical Education, The Arts, Technology, and Learning Languages.

On 13 June the Minister announced changes to the National Curriculum. As changes to the curriculum are progressed the resources in this section will be reviewed and updated to align to the refreshed New Zealand Curriculum. We appreciate your patience while this work is completed.
